Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Building & Construction and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.22% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which rose 9.83% or 2.38 points to trade at 26.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.14% or 0.01 points to end at 0.15 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) was up 4.89% or 1.25 points to 26.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Gassim Investment Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:6020), which fell 3.96% or 0.80 points to trade at 19.40 at the close. Maharah for Human Resources (TADAWUL:1831) declined 3.26% or 0.23 points to end at 6.83 and United Int Transportation Company (TADAWUL:4260) was down 3.03% or 2.80 points to 89.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.13% or 0.10 to $77.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.16% or 0.13 to hit $82.90 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 4.00 to trade at $2,038.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.36% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 103.70.
