Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Industrial Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which rose 9.97% or 24.47 points to trade at 269.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 9.90% or 7.83 points to end at 86.90 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was up 7.13% or 0.57 points to 8.56 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which fell 2.18% or 0.73 points to trade at 32.70 at the close. Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) declined 2.01% or 0.28 points to end at 13.62 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was down 1.93% or 0.130 points to 6.620.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 93 to 78 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.48% or 0.30 to $62.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.38% or 0.25 to hit $65.54 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 4.00 to trade at $1331.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.09% to 4.6574, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 89.53.
