Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Building & Construction and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 10.00% or 2.14 points to trade at 23.54 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Maather REIT (SE:4334) added 9.96% or 0.94 points to end at 10.38 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) was up 9.95% or 2.00 points to 22.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which fell 7.25% or 4.40 points to trade at 56.30 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 4.05% or 1.60 points to end at 37.95 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was down 4.04% or 1.55 points to 36.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 134 to 57 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) rose to 52-week highs; up 10.00% or 2.14 to 23.54. Shares in Al Maather REIT (SE:4334) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.96% or 0.94 to 10.38. Shares in Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.95% or 2.00 to 22.10.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.48% or 0.19 to $39.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.24% or 0.10 to hit $41.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.58% or 11.10 to trade at $1892.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.24% to 4.3936, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 94.037.
