Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Real Estate Development and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.16% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240), which rose 9.98% or 1.60 points to trade at 17.64 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820) added 7.65% or 1.76 points to end at 24.76 and Halwani Bros (TADAWUL:6001) was up 7.64% or 4.10 points to 57.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:6013), which fell 3.27% or 5.60 points to trade at 165.80 at the close. International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) declined 3.08% or 4.80 points to end at 150.80 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070) was down 2.80% or 2.70 points to 93.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 124 to 118 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.01% or 1.63 to $79.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $86.40 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.00 to trade at $1,928.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.18% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 101.74.
