Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Retail, Insurance and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Pharmaceutical (TADAWUL:4016), which rose 29.91% or 41.40 points to trade at 179.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) added 10.00% or 7.70 points to end at 84.70 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) was up 8.77% or 7.60 points to 94.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:2380), which fell 8.01% or 0.72 points to trade at 8.27 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) declined 6.67% or 0.01 points to end at 0.14 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was down 5.08% or 6.00 points to 112.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 152 to 127 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.38% or 0.30 to $78.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.12% or 0.10 to hit $82.25 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 4.35 to trade at $2,038.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.01% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 103.92.
