Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Retail and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.13% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820), which rose 9.91% or 1.96 points to trade at 21.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:8312) added 8.96% or 1.14 points to end at 13.86 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8280) was up 5.83% or 0.70 points to 12.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Drilling Co (TADAWUL:2381), which fell 2.19% or 3.00 points to trade at 134.00 at the close. Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6070) declined 1.96% or 0.95 points to end at 47.50 and Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (TADAWUL:3007) was down 1.58% or 0.55 points to 34.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 99 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.17% or 0.14 to $80.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.02% or 0.02 to hit $86.15 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 8.20 to trade at $1,927.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 101.72.
