Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Real Estate Development and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which rose 9.89% or 4.10 points to trade at 45.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) added 6.77% or 1.16 points to end at 18.30 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was up 5.04% or 1.23 points to 25.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which fell 1.91% or 0.16 points to trade at 8.20 at the close. Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100) declined 1.64% or 1.00 points to end at 60.00 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) was down 1.53% or 0.32 points to 20.56.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 47 to 38 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) rose to all time highs; rising 9.89% or 4.10 to 45.55.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.95% or 0.39 to $40.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.66% or 0.29 to hit $43.50 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 7.15 to trade at $1806.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 4.2865, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 95.938.
