Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Insurance and Multi Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.11% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090), which rose 7.71% or 1.29 points to trade at 18.02 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 3.34% or 2.07 points to end at 64.00 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) was up 3.27% or 1.33 points to 42.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050), which fell 2.39% or 1.19 points to trade at 48.70 at the close. Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) declined 1.62% or 0.77 points to end at 46.90 and Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) was down 1.61% or 0.15 points to 9.16.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 78 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.34% or 2.07 to 64.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.14% or 0.09 to $63.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.33% or 0.23 to hit $68.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.40 to trade at $1335.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.39% to 4.5784, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 90.53.
