Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Financial Services and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which rose 7.73% or 0.96 points to trade at 13.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200) added 5.80% or 8.80 points to end at 160.40 and Alinma Bank (SE:1150) was up 3.28% or 0.95 points to 29.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which fell 6.60% or 2.85 points to trade at 40.30 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) declined 5.38% or 13.60 points to end at 239.40 and Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (SE:2081) was down 4.05% or 4.40 points to 104.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 114 to 94 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alinma Bank (SE:1150) rose to all time highs; up 3.28% or 0.95 to 29.95.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.75% or 0.65 to $87.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.71% or 0.63 to hit $89.15 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 10.65 to trade at $1795.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.50% to 4.2014, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7516.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 96.875.
