Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Media & Publishing and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Halwani Bros (SE:6001), which rose 9.94% or 4.50 points to trade at 49.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) added 9.93% or 2.14 points to end at 23.70 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) was up 4.48% or 3.00 points to 70.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Food Products Co. (SE:2100), which fell 3.81% or 1.30 points to trade at 32.80 at the close. Bonyan REIT (SE:4347) declined 3.33% or 0.28 points to end at 8.12 and Advanced Petrochemical Company (SE:2330) was down 2.79% or 1.40 points to 48.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 113 to 70 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Halwani Bros (SE:6001) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.94% or 4.50 to 49.75.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 5.29% or 1.69 to $33.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 4.85% or 1.68 to hit $36.33 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 7.70 to trade at $1753.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.74% to 4.1307, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7565.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 99.017.
