Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Hotels & Tourism and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.05% to hit a new 5-year high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210), which rose 10.00% or 14.00 points to trade at 154.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) added 9.97% or 7.60 points to end at 83.80 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) was up 9.54% or 8.10 points to 93.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which fell 3.59% or 5.40 points to trade at 145.00 at the close. Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) declined 2.25% or 4.40 points to end at 191.00 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) was down 2.23% or 0.70 points to 30.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 111 to 83 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.74% or 1.20 to $67.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.39% or 0.99 to hit $70.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.51% or 45.40 to trade at $1763.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.59% to 4.4107, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 92.780.
