Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Takween Advanced Industries (TADAWUL:1201), which rose 9.95% or 0.78 points to trade at 8.62 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008) added 9.89% or 5.50 points to end at 61.10 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (TADAWUL:7030) was up 7.43% or 0.88 points to 12.72 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SABIC AgriNutrients Co (TADAWUL:2020), which fell 8.61% or 12.00 points to trade at 127.40 at the close. Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) declined 7.11% or 10.80 points to end at 141.00 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) was down 2.98% or 1.25 points to 40.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 183 to 73 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.19% or 1.52 to $70.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.89% or 1.41 to hit $76.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.70% or 34.10 to trade at $1,967.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 102.62.
