Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Insurance and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which rose 4.89% or 3.34 points to trade at 71.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Paper Co (SE:1202) added 4.21% or 1.02 points to end at 25.25 and ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) was up 3.89% or 0.50 points to 13.36 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which fell 9.91% or 1.34 points to trade at 12.18 at the close. Food Products Co. (SE:2100) declined 4.60% or 0.72 points to end at 14.94 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was down 4.16% or 0.59 points to 13.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 63 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.91% or 1.34 to 12.18. Shares in Food Products Co. (SE:2100) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.60% or 0.72 to 14.94. Shares in Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.16% or 0.59 to 13.60.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.25% or 0.87 to $70.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.35% or 1.01 to hit $75.88 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.20 to trade at $1313.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.38% to 4.4697, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 92.67.
