Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI fell 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were Altri SGPS SA (ELI:ALSS), which rose 1.88% or 0.09 points to trade at 4.89 at the close. Meanwhile, Nos SGPS SA (ELI:NOS) added 0.70% or 0.03 points to end at 3.60 and Ibersol SGPS (ELI:IBS) was up 0.55% or 0.04 points to 7.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA (ELI:RENE), which fell 0.84% or 0.02 points to trade at 2.36 at the close. Galp Energia Nom (ELI:GALP) declined 0.78% or 0.15 points to end at 18.99 and Corticeira Amorim (ELI:CORA) was down 0.67% or 0.06 points to 8.83.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 15 to 13 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.47% or 1.14 to $78.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.95% or 1.45 to hit $75.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 16.45 to trade at $2,554.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.35% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.26% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 101.26.
