Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 fell 2.10%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Ramada Investimentos e Industria SA (LS:RAMA), which rose 1.16% or 0.100 points to trade at 8.750 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) added 0.98% or 0.0080 points to end at 0.8230 and The Navigator Company SA (LS:NVGR) was down 0.05% or 0.0020 points to 3.7000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CTT Correios de Portugal SA (LS:CTT), which fell 4.29% or 0.1500 points to trade at 3.3500 at the close. Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) declined 4.02% or 0.0680 points to end at 1.6220 and Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) was down 3.35% or 0.4950 points to 14.2700.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 28 to 5 and 5 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for February delivery was down 3.61% or 2.22 to $59.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 3.59% or 1.90 to hit $50.99 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.40 to trade at $1246.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.33% to 1.1381, while EUR/GBP fell 0.10% to 0.8900.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 96.703.
