Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Utilities and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 declined 1.20%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP), which rose 0.89% or 0.1500 points to trade at 17.0900 at the close. Meanwhile, Ramada Investimentos e Industria SA (LS:RAMA) added 0.51% or 0.050 points to end at 9.950 and Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA) was down 0.17% or 0.020 points to 11.500 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mota Engil (LS:MOTA), which fell 4.33% or 0.0950 points to trade at 2.1000 at the close. Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP) declined 3.48% or 0.0092 points to end at 0.2550 and EDP (LS:EDP) was down 3.32% or 0.1090 points to 3.1780.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 25 to 9 and 1 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.89% or 1.54 to $82.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.61% or 1.16 to hit $73.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.72% or 8.50 to trade at $1195.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.25% to 1.1612, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.8900.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 94.70.
