Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 fell 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Ibersol SGPS (LS:IBS), which rose 1.57% or 0.220 points to trade at 14.250 at the close. Meanwhile, EDP (LS:EDP) added 1.26% or 0.0400 points to end at 3.2140 and Semapa (LS:SEM) was up 1.19% or 0.1900 points to 16.1000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA), which fell 3.02% or 0.0100 points to trade at 0.3210 at the close. Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) declined 2.86% or 0.0230 points to end at 0.7820 and CTT Correios de Portugal SA (LS:CTT) was down 1.37% or 0.0740 points to 5.3110.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 23 to 14 and 5 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was up 1.05% or 0.53 to $50.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 0.41% or 0.19 to hit $46.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 8.77 to trade at $1291.67 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.13% to 1.1751, while EUR/GBP fell 0.10% to 0.9119.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 93.48.
