Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 fell 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP), which rose 2.90% or 0.0066 points to trade at 0.2344 at the close. Meanwhile, Ramada Investimentos e Industria SA (LS:RAMA) added 1.57% or 0.150 points to end at 9.700 and REN (LS:RENE) was up 0.86% or 0.0200 points to 2.3540 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sonae SGPS SA (LS:YSO), which fell 3.67% or 0.0320 points to trade at 0.8400 at the close. Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) declined 3.37% or 0.0250 points to end at 0.7170 and Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS) was down 3.36% or 0.2600 points to 7.4700.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 19 to 12 and 2 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.12% or 0.10 to $80.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.27% or 0.19 to hit $71.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 8.60 to trade at $1230.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.26% to 1.1589, while EUR/GBP rose 0.10% to 0.8801.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 94.68.
