Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 declined 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were CTT Correios de Portugal SA (LS:CTT), which rose 3.47% or 0.1060 points to trade at 3.1580 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) added 1.22% or 0.0120 points to end at 0.9940 and Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) was up 0.79% or 0.1250 points to 15.9150 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP), which fell 2.07% or 0.0058 points to trade at 0.2740 at the close. Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA) declined 1.27% or 0.0035 points to end at 0.2730 and EDP (LS:EDP) was down 0.95% or 0.0290 points to 3.0320.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 18 to 13 and 7 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was up 0.27% or 0.20 to $73.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.18% or 0.12 to hit $68.05 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 7.80 to trade at $1313.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.27% to 1.1983, while EUR/GBP rose 0.24% to 0.8826.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 92.30.
