Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 declined 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP), which rose 4.49% or 0.0134 points to trade at 0.3121 at the close. Meanwhile, EDP (LS:EDP) added 2.57% or 0.0700 points to end at 2.7890 and Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) was up 0.69% or 0.1000 points to 14.6650 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sonae (LS:YSO), which fell 4.84% or 0.0580 points to trade at 1.1410 at the close. Nos SGPS SA (LS:NOS) declined 3.73% or 0.1860 points to end at 4.8040 and Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) was down 3.46% or 0.1350 points to 3.7650.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 23 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nos SGPS SA (LS:NOS) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.73% or 0.1860 to 4.8040.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 0.45% or 0.29 to $64.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.20% or 0.12 to hit $61.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.19% or 15.50 to trade at $1320.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.35% to 1.2307, while EUR/GBP rose 0.43% to 0.8942.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 90.03.
