Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 declined 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were REN (LS:RENE), which rose 0.72% or 0.0180 points to trade at 2.5220 at the close. Meanwhile, EDP (LS:EDP) added 0.67% or 0.0200 points to end at 2.9940 and Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) was up 0.35% or 0.0550 points to 15.9550 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mota Engil (LS:MOTA), which fell 5.29% or 0.2150 points to trade at 3.8500 at the close. Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS) declined 1.68% or 0.0900 points to end at 5.2800 and Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA) was down 1.64% or 0.180 points to 10.820.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 19 to 16 and 5 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.71% or 0.48 to $67.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 1.08% or 0.67 to hit $61.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1321.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.17% to 1.2046, while EUR/GBP fell 0.29% to 0.8881.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 91.69.
