Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 lost 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS), which rose 4.69% or 0.2300 points to trade at 5.1300 at the close. Meanwhile, Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) added 2.58% or 0.3900 points to end at 15.4850 and CTT Correios de Portugal SA (LS:CTT) was up 2.11% or 0.0660 points to 3.1900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP), which fell 2.66% or 0.0076 points to trade at 0.2782 at the close. Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) declined 2.43% or 0.0900 points to end at 3.6100 and Sonae (LS:YSO) was down 1.77% or 0.0210 points to 1.1650.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 19 to 16 and 4 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 1.52% or 0.99 to $66.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 1.75% or 1.07 to hit $62.26 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 4.00 to trade at $1313.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.16% to 1.2285, while EUR/GBP fell 0.16% to 0.8815.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 90.22.
