Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Industrials and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 lost 0.00%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Ibersol SGPS (LS:IBS), which rose 2.85% or 0.240 points to trade at 8.660 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonae SGPS SA (LS:YSO) added 2.24% or 0.0185 points to end at 0.8455 and Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA) was up 1.07% or 0.100 points to 9.480 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA), which fell 2.91% or 0.0056 points to trade at 0.1870 at the close. Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) declined 1.49% or 0.0130 points to end at 0.8620 and CTT Correios de Portugal SA (LS:CTT) was down 0.97% or 0.0300 points to 3.0480.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 15 to 15 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.26% or 0.16 to $61.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.27% or 0.14 to hit $52.22 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.90 to trade at $1289.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.30% to 1.1506, while EUR/GBP rose 0.06% to 0.9029.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 95.088.
