Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Basic Materials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI rose 1.04%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP), which rose 3.51% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.43 at the close. Meanwhile, CTT Correios de Portugal SA (ELI:CTT) added 2.49% or 0.11 points to end at 4.32 and The Navigator Company SA (ELI:NVGR) was up 1.81% or 0.07 points to 3.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sonae SGPS SA (ELI:YSO), which fell 0.84% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.95 at the close. Semapa (ELI:SEM) declined 0.13% or 0.02 points to end at 14.98 and Altri SGPS SA (ELI:ALSS) was down 0.10% or 0.01 points to 5.15.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 19 to 7 and 8 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.64% or 0.51 to $78.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.74% or 0.56 to hit $75.29 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.43% or 37.65 to trade at $2,676.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.07% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 102.67.
