Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Utilities and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI rose 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were Altri SGPS SA (ELI:ALSS), which rose 1.49% or 0.07 points to trade at 5.03 at the close. Meanwhile, Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI:MOTA) added 1.12% or 0.03 points to end at 2.53 and Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA (ELI:JMT) was up 1.08% or 0.18 points to 16.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nos SGPS SA (ELI:NOS), which fell 0.96% or 0.04 points to trade at 3.61 at the close. The Navigator Company SA (ELI:NVGR) declined 0.73% or 0.03 points to end at 3.56 and Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP) was 0.35% or 0.00 points to 0.42.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 13 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.73% or 1.29 to $75.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.75% or 1.23 to hit $71.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $2,748.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.16% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.06.
