Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Utilities and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 gained 0.98% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP), which rose 2.24% or 0.3750 points to trade at 17.1150 at the close. Meanwhile, Nos SGPS SA (LS:NOS) added 1.97% or 0.0960 points to end at 4.9800 and REN (LS:RENE) was up 1.25% or 0.0320 points to 2.6020 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS), which fell 0.97% or 0.0600 points to trade at 6.1400 at the close. Semapa (LS:SEM) added 0.10% or 0.0200 points to end at 19.1400 and Sonae (LS:YSO) was up 0.26% or 0.0030 points to 1.1430.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 27 to 4 and 6 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.09% or 0.07 to $77.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.39% or 0.28 to hit $71.08 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1321.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.31% to 1.1952, while EUR/GBP rose 0.10% to 0.8821.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 92.37.
