Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 gained 0.94% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP), which rose 3.76% or 0.0110 points to trade at 0.3034 at the close. Meanwhile, Novabase SGPS (LS:NBA) added 2.61% or 0.080 points to end at 3.140 and Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) was up 1.97% or 0.0190 points to 0.9820 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ibersol SGPS (LS:IBS), which fell 1.64% or 0.200 points to trade at 12.000 at the close. EDP (LS:EDP) declined 0.80% or 0.0230 points to end at 2.8680 and Semapa (LS:SEM) was down 0.43% or 0.0800 points to 18.5000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 19 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.07% or 0.05 to $69.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $64.00 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 8.90 to trade at $1330.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.39% to 1.2233, while EUR/GBP fell 0.06% to 0.8808.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 90.34.
