Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 rose 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC), which rose 2.51% or 0.0260 points to trade at 1.0620 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonae (LS:YSO) added 2.27% or 0.0270 points to end at 1.2160 and Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) was up 2.02% or 0.0700 points to 3.5300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA), which fell 0.64% or 0.0015 points to trade at 0.2320 at the close. Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) declined 0.31% or 0.0450 points to end at 14.4850 and Semapa (LS:SEM) was down 0.22% or 0.0400 points to 18.0000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 19 to 16 and 3 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for April delivery was down 0.64% or 0.41 to $63.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.23% or 0.14 to hit $60.74 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 4.10 to trade at $1353.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.2466, while EUR/GBP fell 0.17% to 0.8881.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 88.81.
