Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 rose 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Sonae SGPS SA (LS:YSO), which rose 5.19% or 0.0430 points to trade at 0.8720 at the close. Meanwhile, Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA) added 3.83% or 0.0056 points to end at 0.1520 and Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS) was up 3.62% or 0.2700 points to 7.7300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ramada Investimentos e Industria SA (LS:RAMA), which fell 1.55% or 0.150 points to trade at 9.550 at the close. The Navigator Company SA (LS:NVGR) declined 1.44% or 0.0600 points to end at 4.1000 and Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) was down 1.26% or 0.2000 points to 15.6500.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 18 to 15 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.71% or 0.57 to $79.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $70.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.60 to trade at $1223.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.28% to 1.1561, while EUR/GBP rose 0.32% to 0.8790.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 94.91.
