Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 added 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA), which rose 2.75% or 0.315 points to trade at 11.750 at the close. Meanwhile, Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) added 2.32% or 0.0750 points to end at 3.3110 and REN (LS:RENE) was up 1.58% or 0.0390 points to 2.5120 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were EDP (LS:EDP), which fell 1.16% or 0.0340 points to trade at 2.8880 at the close. Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS) declined 0.51% or 0.0270 points to end at 5.2400 and The Navigator Company SA (LS:NVGR) was down 0.48% or 0.0200 points to 4.1550.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 20 to 13 and 8 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.24% or 0.15 to $62.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 0.50% or 0.28 to hit $56.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 7.32 to trade at $1282.62 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.06% to 1.1740, while EUR/GBP rose 0.10% to 0.8874.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.90.
