Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 gained 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Mota Engil (LS:MOTA), which rose 3.04% or 0.0850 points to trade at 2.8850 at the close. Meanwhile, CTT Correios de Portugal SA (LS:CTT) added 1.51% or 0.0480 points to end at 3.2280 and Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS) was up 1.01% or 0.0900 points to 8.9700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were F.Rama (LS:RAMA), which fell 0.98% or 0.100 points to trade at 10.100 at the close. Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) declined 0.92% or 0.1650 points to end at 17.7300 and Semapa (LS:SEM) was down 0.50% or 0.1000 points to 20.0500.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 18 to 12 and 10 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.04% or 0.03 to $72.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $66.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1220.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.44% to 1.1559, while EUR/GBP fell 0.17% to 0.8997.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 95.26.
