Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 rose 0.06% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were The Navigator Company SA (LS:NVGR), which rose 2.12% or 0.0850 points to trade at 4.1020 at the close. Meanwhile, Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS) added 1.55% or 0.0640 points to end at 4.1840 and Ibersol SGPS (LS:IBS) was up 1.04% or 0.135 points to 13.120 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP), which fell 1.64% or 0.0038 points to trade at 0.2274 at the close. Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) declined 0.74% or 0.0220 points to end at 2.9510 and Semapa (LS:SEM) was down 0.49% or 0.0750 points to 15.2300.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 20 to 14 and 8 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for December delivery was up 2.61% or 1.47 to $57.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 2.19% or 1.11 to hit $51.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.11% or 14.45 to trade at $1311.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.95% to 1.1843, while EUR/GBP fell 0.49% to 0.8805.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.55% at 92.46.
