Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 gained 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Mota Engil (LS:MOTA), which rose 1.13% or 0.0280 points to trade at 2.4970 at the close. Meanwhile, Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA) added 0.59% or 0.0020 points to end at 0.3400 and J. Martins SGPS (LS:JMT) was up 0.53% or 0.0900 points to 17.0500 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nos SGPS SA (LS:NOS), which fell 0.69% or 0.0380 points to trade at 5.4910 at the close. Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) declined 0.60% or 0.0050 points to end at 0.8260 and EDP Renovaveis (LS:EDPR) was down 0.47% or 0.0320 points to 6.7860.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 25 to 10 and 5 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.46% or 0.24 to $52.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.55% or 0.27 to hit $49.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.24 to trade at $1261.46 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.42% to 1.1745, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.9050.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 93.58.
