Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX lost 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were IMCD NV (AS:IMCD), which rose 3.66% or 5.20 points to trade at 147.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Randstad NV (AS:RAND) added 2.09% or 0.89 points to end at 43.39 and ASM International NV (AS:ASMI) was up 1.77% or 9.00 points to 517.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV (AS:AD), which fell 2.26% or 0.75 points to trade at 32.50 at the close. Aegon Ltd (AS:AEGN) declined 1.42% or 0.09 points to end at 6.11 and ASR Nederland NV (AS:ASRNL) was down 0.96% or 0.45 points to 46.28.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 59 to 41 and 10 ended unchanged.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.22% or 0.83 to $67.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.04% or 0.75 to hit $71.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 12.16 to trade at $2,660.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.28% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 106.01.
