Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX gained 0.98% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were ASM International NV (AS:ASMI), which rose 5.31% or 36.80 points to trade at 729.40 at the close. Meanwhile, ASML Holding NV (AS:ASML) added 2.32% or 22.40 points to end at 988.90 and IMCD NV (AS:IMCD) was up 1.90% or 2.50 points to 134.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Unilever PLC (AS:ULVR), which fell 0.27% or 0.14 points to trade at 52.40 at the close. Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV (AS:AD) declined 0.04% or 0.01 points to end at 28.17 and Prosus (AS:PRX) was down 0.01% or 0.01 points to 34.33.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 75 to 28 and 8 ended unchanged.

The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.22% or 0.18 to $80.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.32% or 0.27 to hit $85.34 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 19.90 to trade at $2,366.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.12% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 105.26.
