Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX rose 0.95% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were Prosus (AS:PRX), which rose 3.37% or 1.12 points to trade at 34.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Randstad NV (AS:RAND) added 2.66% or 1.16 points to end at 44.75 and Adyen NV (AS:ADYEN) was up 2.64% or 29.80 points to 1,158.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:ABNd), which fell 0.56% or 0.09 points to trade at 15.91 at the close. NN Group NV (AS:NN) declined 0.42% or 0.19 points to end at 44.87 and Heineken (AS:HEIN) was down 0.11% or 0.10 points to 89.34.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 65 to 39 and 8 ended unchanged.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.12% or 0.10 to $82.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.20% or 0.17 to hit $85.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 3.50 to trade at $2,418.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.35% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.23% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 103.80.
