Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX added 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were IMCD NV (AS:IMCD), which rose 2.57% or 1.60 points to trade at 63.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Takeaway Com Holding BV (AS:TKWY) added 1.94% or 1.6500 points to end at 86.8500 and ASR Nederland NV (AS:ASRNL) was up 1.82% or 0.57 points to 31.81 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW), which fell 2.38% or 2.90 points to trade at 119.10 at the close. Royal Dutch Shell PLC Class A (AS:RDSa) declined 0.36% or 0.090 points to end at 25.225 and Adyen NV (AS:ADYEN) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 658.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 87 to 41 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.38% or 2.90 to 119.10. Shares in Takeaway Com Holding BV (AS:TKWY) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.94% or 1.6500 to 86.8500.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was down 1.41% to 15.98.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.80% or 1.59 to $55.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.10% or 1.27 to hit $59.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 8.75 to trade at $1528.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.74% to 1.0973, while EUR/GBP fell 0.35% to 0.9035.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 98.912.
