Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX added 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:BESI), which rose 3.03% or 3.40 points to trade at 115.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Prosus (AS:PRX) added 1.77% or 0.57 points to end at 32.85 and ASM International NV (AS:ASMI) was up 1.24% or 7.00 points to 572.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSM Firmenich AG (AS:DSFIR), which fell 2.29% or 2.75 points to trade at 117.25 at the close. Koninklijke Philips NV (AS:PHG) declined 0.91% or 0.24 points to end at 26.06 and Akzo Nobel NV (AS:AKZO) was down 0.74% or 0.40 points to 53.34.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 54 to 45 and 11 ended unchanged.

The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.37% or 1.82 to $78.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.90% or 1.51 to hit $81.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.22% or 30.25 to trade at $2,503.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.11% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.03% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 102.99.
