Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Construction & Building Materials, Mining and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI), which rose 6.00% or 267 points to trade at 4718 at the close. Meanwhile, Nexans Maroc (CS:NEX) added 5.95% or 8.15 points to end at 145.15 and Alliances (CS:ADI) was up 3.72% or 8 points to 223 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Taslif (CS:TSF1), which fell 5.97% or 1.61 points to trade at 25.34 at the close. Jet Contractors (CS:JET) declined 4.68% or 19.40 points to end at 395.10 and Bmce Bank (CS:BMCE) was down 3.73% or 8.90 points to 230.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 20 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI) rose to all time highs; gaining 6.00% or 267 to 4718.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.59% or 0.38 to $63.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.86% or 0.58 to hit $67.04 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 5.10 to trade at $1331.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.02% to 11.3610, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 9.1850.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 89.53.
