Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Transport, Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Involys (CS:INV), which rose 5.82% or 8.50 points to trade at 154.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) added 4.08% or 6.90 points to end at 175.90 and Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI) was up 3.08% or 90 points to 3010 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI), which fell 5.97% or 8.65 points to trade at 136.20 at the close. CIH (CS:CIH) declined 5.82% or 17.00 points to end at 275.00 and IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) was down 4.52% or 7.00 points to 148.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 32 to 13 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.81% or 0.41 to $49.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.78% or 0.43 to hit $55.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.14 to trade at $1310.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.07% to 11.1740, while USD/MAD fell 0.03% to 9.3381.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 91.74.
