Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Utilities, Mining and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.62% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Micro Data SA (CS:MIC), which rose 4.24% or 11.40 points to trade at 280.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Auto Hall (CS:AUTO) added 4.14% or 3.65 points to end at 91.80 and Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU) was up 3.51% or 5.10 points to 150.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT), which fell 5.96% or 95 points to trade at 1500 at the close. Atlanta (CS:ATL) declined 5.54% or 3.96 points to end at 67.50 and Managem (CS:MNG) was down 4.45% or 55 points to 1180.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 20 to 11 and 7 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.46% or 0.31 to $67.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.00% or 0.72 to hit $72.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1227.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.08% to 11.0390, while USD/MAD rose 0.09% to 9.4832.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.78.
