Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Forestry & Paper and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Saham Assurance (CS:SAH), which rose 9.44% or 119 points to trade at 1380 at the close. Meanwhile, Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO) added 8.33% or 2.60 points to end at 33.80 and Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) was up 7.25% or 2.50 points to 37.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Disway SA (CS:DWY), which fell 9.99% or 38.35 points to trade at 345.65 at the close. Unimer (CS:UMR) declined 5.99% or 10.60 points to end at 166.40 and Involys (CS:INV) was down 5.88% or 7.50 points to 120.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 15 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Disway SA (CS:DWY) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.99% or 38.35 to 345.65. Shares in Unimer (CS:UMR) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.99% or 10.60 to 166.40.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.20% or 1.61 to $74.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.83% or 1.51 to hit $84.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 2.90 to trade at $1193.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 10.9240, while USD/MAD rose 0.27% to 9.4439.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.97.
