Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Forestry & Paper and Beverage sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.55% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Residences Dar Saada SA (CS:RDS), which rose 2.12% or 2.50 points to trade at 120.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Bmce Bank (CS:BMCE) added 1.89% or 3.90 points to end at 209.90 and Douja Prom Addoha (CS:ADH) was up 1.43% or 0.30 points to 21.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hps (CS:HPS), which fell 6.01% or 117.00 points to trade at 1830.00 at the close. Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) declined 5.55% or 2.35 points to end at 40.00 and Alliances (CS:ADI) was down 3.89% or 5 points to 126.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 11 to 8 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.55% or 2.35 to 40.00. Shares in Alliances (CS:ADI) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.89% or 5 to 126.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.08% or 1.41 to $66.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.52% or 1.16 to hit $75.31 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 6.20 to trade at $1297.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 11.0680, while USD/MAD rose 0.10% to 9.5186.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.36.
