Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Forestry & Paper and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE:SNA), which rose 7.05% or 1.10 points to trade at 16.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:SRM) added 6.52% or 29.00 points to end at 474.00 and Micro Data SA (CSE:MIC) was up 2.40% or 15.00 points to 640.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR), which fell 6.26% or 7.75 points to trade at 116.05 at the close. Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE:RDS) declined 4.52% or 3.60 points to end at 76.00 and SMI (CSE:SMI) was down 3.67% or 80.00 points to 2,100.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 31 to 16 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.58% or 2.63 to $70.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 4.10% or 3.18 to hit $74.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 15.85 to trade at $2,511.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.72% to 10.77, while USD/MAD fell 0.46% to 9.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 101.77.
