Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Insurance, Utilities and Invest Companies & Other Finance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Disway SA (CS:DWY), which rose 7.63% or 28.60 points to trade at 403.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Aluminum du Maroc SA (CS:ALU) added 5.92% or 77 points to end at 1378 and Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI) was up 5.81% or 183 points to 3333 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saham Assurance (CS:SAH), which fell 9.88% or 160 points to trade at 1460 at the close. Timar (CS:TIM) declined 9.72% or 22.50 points to end at 209.00 and Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) was down 5.95% or 12.65 points to 200.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 34 to 21 and 7 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.16% or 0.08 to $51.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.21% or 0.12 to hit $57.35 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 7.23 to trade at $1282.77 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.24% to 11.1100, while USD/MAD rose 0.38% to 9.4300.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 93.53.
