Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS:AGMA), which rose 5.83% or 168 points to trade at 3048 at the close. Meanwhile, Maroc Leasing (CS:MLE) added 4.35% or 18.00 points to end at 432.00 and Wafa Assurance (CS:WASS) was up 4.23% or 199 points to 4899 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which fell 8.12% or 8.50 points to trade at 96.20 at the close. Alliances (CS:ADI) declined 7.73% or 9 points to end at 105 and Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) was down 5.99% or 6.23 points to 97.77.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 27 to 14 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) fell to 52-week lows; down 8.12% or 8.50 to 96.20. Shares in Alliances (CS:ADI) fell to 52-week lows; down 7.73% or 9 to 105. Shares in Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) fell to all time lows; down 5.99% or 6.23 to 97.77.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.09% or 0.06 to $66.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.96% or 0.74 to hit $76.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 5.70 to trade at $1307.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.49% to 11.0760, while USD/MAD rose 0.84% to 9.5217.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.99% at 94.49.
