Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Insurance, Software & Computer Services and Beverage sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which rose 6.58% or 10.00 points to trade at 162.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU) added 2.79% or 4.70 points to end at 172.90 and LafargeHolcim Maroc (CS:LHM) was up 2.10% or 39 points to 1899 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were S2M (CS:S2M), which fell 9.65% or 25.95 points to trade at 243.05 at the close. Auto Hall (CS:AUTO) declined 6.05% or 5.80 points to end at 90.10 and Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS:AGMA) was down 5.97% or 187 points to 2943.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 29 to 16 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Auto Hall (CS:AUTO) fell to 52-week lows; down 6.05% or 5.80 to 90.10.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.32% or 0.18 to $57.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.25% or 0.16 to hit $63.15 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1258.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.04% to 11.1470, while USD/MAD rose 0.01% to 9.4635.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 93.81.
