Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure, Mining and Forestry & Paper sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO), which rose 5.96% or 88 points to trade at 1564 at the close. Meanwhile, Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) added 3.16% or 0.54 points to end at 17.65 and Snep (CS:SNP) was up 2.30% or 14.00 points to 624.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were M2M Group (CS:M2M), which fell 7.06% or 38.00 points to trade at 500.00 at the close. Risma (CS:RIS) declined 3.48% or 6.50 points to end at 180.50 and Cartier Saada (CS:CRS) was down 3.19% or 0.79 points to 24.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 24 to 10 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.07% or 0.05 to $70.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.78% or 0.61 to hit $78.84 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 2.10% or 27.70 to trade at $1290.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.19% to 11.1560, while USD/MAD rose 0.28% to 9.3968.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.52% at 93.03.
