Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Chemicals and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:STR), which rose 3.42% or 1.78 points to trade at 53.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Disty Technologies SA (CSE:DYT) added 2.27% or 5.00 points to end at 225.00 and Label Vie (CSE:LBV) was up 1.44% or 64.00 points to 4,494.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nationale d’Electrolyse et de Petrochimie Ste SA (CSE:SNP), which fell 4.28% or 20.65 points to trade at 461.50 at the close. Jet Contractors (CSE:JET) declined 4.26% or 49.00 points to end at 1,100.00 and Douja Prom Addoha (CSE:ADH) was down 3.15% or 1.05 points to 32.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 29 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.63% or 1.23 to $74.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.59% or 1.26 to hit $77.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 12.35 to trade at $2,663.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.15% to 10.71, while USD/MAD rose 0.12% to 9.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 102.96.
