Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Holding Companies, Mining and Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were M2M Group (CS:M2M), which rose 9.99% or 42.45 points to trade at 467.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) added 7.64% or 2.45 points to end at 34.50 and Colorado (CS:COL) was up 7.34% or 4.99 points to 73.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saham Assurance (CS:SAH), which fell 9.93% or 139 points to trade at 1261 at the close. Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO) declined 9.09% or 3.12 points to end at 31.20 and Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) was down 7.72% or 7.95 points to 95.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 28 to 17 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saham Assurance (CS:SAH) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.93% or 139 to 1261.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.04% or 1.47 to $73.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.22% or 1.81 to hit $83.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 8.30 to trade at $1195.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.10% to 10.9370, while USD/MAD rose 0.23% to 9.4260.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 94.72.
